New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a person of interest in connection with a homicide investigation.
Sought is Demond Smith (pictured), Black male, DOB 05/28/1998.
According to investigators, Demond Smith is believed to possess information regarding the death of Taj Smith, which occurred on August 15, 2015 in the 7300 block of Poitevent Avenue.
Note Demond Smith is NOT currently wanted for this crime and is sought only because of information he is believed to possess.
